| Essay Questions (I) |
So how's life been treating you? Well, I'm finally--at least more or less--out of school. I got married this year (June 19) and aside from a long-ish commute I'm settling into my new job at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. It's a long story, but those are pretty much the high points. |
Are you the same person you were in high school? I haven't changed much in appearance, but I've gotten more confident and much more tired. I think back to all the classes, clubs, theatre, audio/visual stuff, etc. I did in high school, and don't know how I managed to stay awake! |

Where do you live right now? Califonia's armpit. South of Sacramento. North of Modesto. High crime. Bad air. Moving soon we hope!! |
Describe the most interesting place you've ever lived: When Andy and I were dating (VERY long distance) I convinced my school to send me to the East Coast for one of my rotations. I lived with Andy (gasp!) in Narragansett, Rhode Island and worked in Fall River, Massachusetts. Very different from the West Coast, but very interesting. |
What's your favorite place to visit?: There are too many. Boston, Mass, Carmel/Monterey/Pacific Grove, CA and San Luis Obispo, CA pretty much top the list. |
| Essay Questions (II) |
What are you most proud of in your life so far? Finishing my Doctor of Pharmacy degree and having a job where I can help people. My family and friends have been wonderfully supportive--I'm proud of them for not letting me quit. |
What are you least proud of in your life so far? I'm not good at keeping in touch with people. Time just flies by, and then by the time I try to reach someone, they've moved. |

| Essay Questions (III) |
Tell us something surprising: I bet nobody would've guessed I'd become a drug dealer/pusher. OK, so it's legal and I had to go to school forever to do it, but how about this... Ken Traum wasn't the only one in the band who could belch the alphabet. :) |
Most interesting thing you've ever done: Worked on the Cal Poly Rose Float for the New Years' Day Parade. Welding, grinding, grease, hydraulics, taking engines apart and putting them back together, plus decorating--all good clean fun! Plus, that's where I met my husband... |
What will you be doing this New Years' Eve? I'll probably be decorating the float, out on a dark street in Pasadena waiting for the electricity to come back on. |

In the yearbook, you predicted this for your future: Hopefully I'll go to Stanford. If not, I'll be at Cal Poly. I'm going to be a research scientist in chemistry and cure everything. |
Which parts were correct (or wrong)? Well, I didn't go to Stanford but I did go to Cal Poly, SLO--a much better education for a lot less money--and got a B.S. degree in Chemistry. I became a pharmacist and worked on a master's degree (in which I was working on curing breast cancer) which burned me out. I still have the option to go back and finish it; meanwhile, I'm helping to cure people using existing medications. Really, my work world actually does revolve around drugs--the legal kind. |
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Still a pharmacist, probably still trying to get up some momentum to go finish the master's degree. |
In 20 years? Ummm....I'll let you know when I figure it out. |
Your tombstone epitaph: I was hoping Daniel would write something witty for me. I know this leaves a lot of leeway, but he was always the "creative" one. |
How many answers on this page are lies? None |
Anything else you'd like to tell us? I've been wondering what everyone has been up to--I've been in school pretty much ever since high school (yes, that is as bad as it looks) and the years have just whipped by. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone! |
