Can I just state for the record how vastly superior oil paints are to acrylic? Kate finally talked me into trying them out, and boy oh wow is it a whole new world not having to rush every brush stroke in order to catch a blend before the whole mess dries on you. Man.

Of course, check in with me again after I’ve done more than the first rough underpaint layer; this might have just been beginner’s luck.
